Sky Gardens – Green space for our future generations?

Here at The Wild Network we think Sky Gardens are a great idea. And in ever growing cities, such spaces are vital. But future gardens need to be free public spaces, so that they are truly accessible by everyone seeking a connection to nature.

Here are three of our favourites…

1. The High Line in New York

A fantastic park and art space, over a mile long, on a disused rail line.

2. The Garden Bridge

Planned to open in London in 2018, it promises a new public park across the Thames.

3. Seoul, North Korea

They have ambitious plans to adopt a similar disused overpass for a new public park and arboretum.
